SnapShop Merchant Privacy Policy

Effective: March 2, 2026

Last updated: March 2, 2026

1. Scope

This Merchant Privacy Policy explains how SnapShop collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you (a retailer/merchant business and your authorized users) use the SnapShop Merchant Portal and related merchant services ("Merchant Services"). This policy also describes how SnapShop handles limited end-customer information that may be processed in connection with Orders. This policy applies to merchants and merchant users. If SnapShop provides a separate consumer-facing privacy notice for shoppers, that notice governs consumer app/web experiences.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Merchants are the seller of record for products and control their relationships with end customers. SnapShop provides software and integrations that help merchants sync product data, manage Orders, coordinate payments through third-party processors, and coordinate delivery through third-party courier networks. Where SnapShop processes end-customer Order information to provide Merchant Services (for example, sending delivery details to a courier), SnapShop generally processes that information to operate the platform and fulfill merchant instructions and configurations.

3. Information We Collect

We collect: (A) Merchant and Account Information (business name, contacts, authorized users, credentials, support communications). (B) POS and Catalog/Inventory Information (items/SKUs, pricing, categories, inventory, location identifiers) when you connect providers such as Square or Clover. (C) Order and Fulfillment Information (line items, quantities, status, timestamps). (D) End-Customer Information (limited) such as name, phone, delivery address, and order contents where necessary for fulfillment/delivery. (E) Payment-Related Information (high level): we do not store raw card numbers; we may store transaction metadata (status, IDs, amounts, fees, payout status) needed for reconciliation, refunds, disputes, and support, coordinated through processors such as Stripe Connect and/or POS payment services. (F) Delivery/Courier Information shared with couriers such as Uber Direct to complete delivery and receive status events. (G) Device/Usage/Technical Information (IP, device/browser, logs, cookies/session data) used for authentication, operations, and basic analytics.

4. How We Use Information

To operate the Merchant Services; sync POS integrations; manage Orders; coordinate payments/settlement; coordinate deliveries; provide support; prevent fraud/abuse; maintain security and reliability; comply with legal, tax, accounting, and dispute obligations.

5. How We Share Information

With (A) POS providers (e.g., Square, Clover) as authorized for sync. (B) Payment processors (e.g., Stripe Connect and/or POS payment services) for authorization, settlement, refunds, disputes. (C) Couriers (e.g., Uber Direct) for pickup/dropoff and delivery completion/status. (D) Infrastructure vendors (hosting, monitoring, support tooling) under contractual protections. (E) Legal/safety disclosures as required by law. No sale of data: SnapShop does not sell merchant or end-customer data and does not use such data for unrelated third-party advertising.

6. Data Retention

Retained as needed to provide services, maintain accounts, and meet legal/compliance needs (including disputes, refunds, chargebacks, and accounting). When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify where feasible consistent with law and contractual requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards (access controls and encryption for sensitive data where appropriate). Merchants must secure their SnapShop accounts and connected third-party accounts.

8. Merchant Choices and Rights

Merchants can update certain account information in the portal and may request access/correction/deletion by contacting privacy@snapshopapp.com, subject to legal and operational requirements. Merchants generally control end-customer relationships and requests; SnapShop will assist as appropriate.

9. International Transfers

If processed outside your country, we take steps to protect it consistent with applicable law and vendor obligations.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy; we update the effective date and may notify via portal/email for material changes. Contact: privacy@snapshopapp.com; Support: support@snapshopapp.com; Mail: SnapShop AI LLC, 8240 Ogee Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada 89145, USA.
